Zacharias organic Moschofilero white wine is a true 100% organic Greek treasure. It is made from the famous Peloponnesian grape of the same name. The Zacharias winery is one of the oldest in the Nemea appellation. This region lies to the east of the Peloponnese, not far from Corinth and Nafplio.. This appellation is recognized as the highest quality Greek PDO. Ilias Zacharias is an agronomist who, over the past 60 years, has put the family winery on a modern footing. Its vineyards cover 40 hectares. That’s why organic farming is now a major part of the business. This fresh wine comes from organic grapes grown on reserved plots. Moschofilero organic white wine has been awarded the Peloponnese Protected Geographical Indication. This 100% organic wine from Domaine de Zacharias is characterized by its pale barley color and freshness. What’s more, the grape variety and winemaking method make this wine unique. It will seduce you with its aromas of white rose, jasmine and citrus. This white wine is ideal for a summer evening with friends, a Mediterranean-style aperitif, a celebration with colleagues or a Sunday lunch with the family. A perfect accompaniment to Tzatziki, Greek salads and all spicy Asian recipes. If you prefer seaside flavors, it will enhance seafood platters or shellfish assortments. Its citrus notes are the perfect complement to grilled fish. Moschofilero is not just a summer wine. In both winter and autumn, it goes wonderfully well with soft cheeses such as Brie or Camembert. To astonish your guests, don’t hesitate to serve it with your pasta recipes with white sauces or béchamel sauce.
