Your questions about Greek Dry Red Wine – “Route 111” – 2022 – Troupis Winery

Troupis Winery has developed a range of wines around a mythical route that connects the regions of Nemea and Aigialeia. This route has now become a secondary axis.

The red wine ‘Route 111’ can be aged for 5 to 8 years in a suitable cellar. Upon opening, we recommend allowing it to breathe slightly.

For this wine ‘ROUTE 111’, the winemaker uses a classic vinification method with a 12-day maceration for both grape varieties and a malolactic fermentation to soften and enhance the characteristics of the grapes. The wine is then aged in oak barrels and bottled unfiltered.
