Discover the elegance and finesse of Zacharias Winery’s Lexis Kidonitsa white wine, a true gem of Greek viticulture. The Zacharias estate is one of the oldest in the Nemea appellation. Located close to Corinth and Nafplio. Its vineyards cover 40 hectares. Organic farming constitutes a significant portion of the vineyard. The art of winemaking is more than just a passion for the Zacharias house. Ilias Zacharias, agronomist, is working on developing his estate through an integrated environmental management system. “He favors lower yields per plot to maximize the quality of his wines. The Kidonitsa grape variety is one of the rarest indigenous varieties of the Peloponnese. “Elevated in barrels, this vinification method gives it a golden hue with brilliant reflections. On the nose, it unveils subtle aromas of quince, pear, and bergamot. In the mouth, the Lexis Kidonitsa white wine reveals its full complexity and balance, with beautiful vivacity and a refreshing finish. A lovely acidity with characteristic citrus nuances accompanies the tasting of this wine. This wine perfectly accompanies your festive moments and celebrations, regardless of the season. In autumn or winter, it will delightfully accompany your pasta dishes such as tagliatelle and penne. Due to its subtle aromas, it enhances your best poultry recipes. In summer, it wonderfully complements seafood platters and shellfish.
